Hello !! I’m back with another blog.As summer comes to an end, the anticipation of school again mounts !!So how are you ?ヽ(*´∀｀)I’ve been preparing for school again, which means going back to school shopping. I got some notebooks and a fountain pen ! It’s red :) I also got some new books, so let’s talk about what I’ve read recently…1. Never let me go by Kazuo Ishiguro2. American primitive by Mary Oliver3. Tom lake by Ann Patchett4. Into thin air by Jon Krakauer- those are all the books ! I liked Tom lake and Into thin air a lot, and while Never let me go definitely scared me, it was beautiful as well. I’ve heard people say American primitive is Oliver’s best work, but I think I disagree? Thirst, Red bird, and just her collected works have more power to me.. not that it wasn't good but I’ve read better by her !..Here’s one of my fave Mary Oliver poems :Last night
in the fields
I lay down in the darkness
to think about death,
but instead I fell asleep,
as if in a vast and sloping room
filled with those white flowers
that open all summer,
sticky and untidy,
in the warm fields.
When I woke
the morning light was just slipping
in front of the stars,
and I was covered
with blossoms.
I don’t know
how it happened—

if my body went diving down
under the sugary vines
in some sleep-sharpened affinity
with the depths, or whether
that green energy
rose like a wave
and curled over me, claiming me
in its husky arms.

began.- white flowers, an amazing poem——Anyway !Enough talk on poems and books and such, more talk on school. I need to clean my room and get myself ready, but since I’m still recovering from being sick ( I basically am still sick 🤒) I don’t have a lot of energy…TO DO -• clean room• laundry• send letter• finish school work• return CDs to library• get haircutAs you can see I’ve got quite a list ! I don’t know how I’ll be able to do it all.. better lock in (^_)v°I’ve really got to start my day now… my poor little dog is scared of me cause I keep coughing loudly 😢 ☆彡Byeee !!

Hello !!How has your summer been? Mines seemed long..So far this summer, I’ve seen friends, worked on hobbies, and spent time in nature !!I started off in June, hanging out with friends and lazing around town.~~~~~~~~~
We visited friends by the river !!Played volleyball .°＊・○🏐 !!Spent a month in the woods, with a little break in the middle for more volleyball and bird watching !! ♪☀︎~the cicadas and the crickets are so cheerful, I’ve written plenty of poems about them 😅Now I’m back home, thrifting with friends and listening to cds..(*´∀`)♪Thanks for saying hi !! Have a good summer :D
